Dr. Heather Taussig, Professor at the University of Denver’s Graduate School of Social Work, has been elected to the prestigious American Academy of Social Work and Social Welfare (AASWSW).
This esteemed honor recognizes Dr. Taussig’s exceptional contributions as a scholar and leader in the field of social work. The AASWSW selects individuals for induction based on their distinguished accomplishments and dedication to achieving excellence in high-impact work that advances social good. Dr. Taussig will be formally inducted into the Academy during the Society for Social Work and Research (SSWR) Conference in January 2025.
