Each October, the American Branch presents International Law Weekend (ILW) in New York City. This two-and-a-half-day conference features over 30 panels, and many of the world’s leading international lawyers and diplomats participate. Warren Binford, JD, EdM, professor, Section of Child Abuse and Neglect/Kempe, was recently named co-chair of International Law Weekend (ILW) 2024 in New York City, October 24–26, “In honor of the 100th anniversary of the 1924 Geneva Declaration of the Rights of the Child.”

Children’s Hospital Colorado, CU Anschutz Medical Campus, and the Kempe Center are honored to host Professor Ann Skelton, renowned children’s rights expert and Chair of the UN Committee on the Rights of the Child at Children’s Hospital Colorado. This visit commemorates the 100th anniversary of International Children’s Rights.
