CASA Colorado Spotlights Kempe Partnership

In late November, CASA highlighted the Kempe Center for the Prevention and Treatment of Child Abuse and Neglect, a department of the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus. Their vision of a world without child maltreatment deeply aligns with the values that guide Colorado CASA.

Although CASA’s approaches differ, both organizations share a commitment to creating safer, more supportive environments for children. With decades of leadership in research, education, clinical care, and advocacy, the Kempe Center continues to shape trauma-responsive practices and strengthen the systems that serve families.

CASA extends a heartfelt thanks to the Kempe team for presenting at this year’s Annual Colorado CASA Conference. The thoughtful session equipped our advocates and staff with new tools, insights, and inspiration to bring back to their local communities. CASA is grateful for the expertise and energy Kempe experts bring to this shared space, and looks forward to continued connection as we work toward a future where every child is safe, supported, and heard.
