In mid-July, Jon Kruljac, CEO of the Kempe Foundation, attended an important rally at the Capitol. The event was organized by the Behavioral Health Administration (BHA), our key agency partner for the School Mental Health Support Program (SMHSP).
The rally celebrated the exciting launch of LIFTS (Linking Individuals and Families To Services). Colorado LIFTS is a groundbreaking new program designed to connect Coloradans with a statewide network of mental health, substance use, crisis support, and care navigation services. This initiative is especially vital as it helps people receive the care they need, particularly those who may not have insurance or sufficient coverage.
We’re proud to see our partners at the BHA leading the charge on such critical programs that align with Kempe’s mission to support the well-being of children and families across Colorado.
