Impact Areas
The Kempe Center continues to work to prevent child maltreatment, offer diagnosis, treatment and support to children, families, and communities that serve them. In addition to helping those at risk for or affected by child maltreatment, the Center provides opportunities for medical and nursing students, pediatric residents, fellows, and other University of Colorado students to conduct research and acquire the skills necessary to diagnose, treat and prevent child abuse and neglect.
